Ranveer Singh will be at the heart of the action in Qatar. The actor has been invited by the Federation Internationale de Football Association to attend the final match as an ambassador
for India.

A football enthusiast, Singh has been an ardent supporter of Arsenal in the English Premier League. Now, the actor will witness the year’s biggest sporting event as the world’s best players slip on their country’s jersey to bring home the coveted trophy. A source says, “Ranveer will fly to Doha for a day, and will have a host of meetings with multiple football icons, before joining them for the marquee event. Thanks to his movies, the actor represents the aspirational youth of India. The members of FIFA thought he’d be the perfect ambassador at the event.” This comes only months after he attended the NBA Games in Abu Dhabi.
