Power couple Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani, who tied the knot in Goa on February 21, continue to receive blessings and wishes from friends and family. On Sunday, Rakul took to Instagram and shared that she had received ‘prasadam’ from Ayodhya. Sharing a picture of the box which also contained a replica of the Ram Mandir and a silver coin, Rakul wrote, "Blessed beyond measure to receive prasadam from Ayodhya after our wedding. Truly a divine start to our journey together.” Previously, Rakul and Jackky were spotted offering prayers at the Ram Mandir's replica rath in Mumbai which was made for devotees who couldn't visit Ayodhya's Ram temple on its inauguration day (January 22).

Rakul and Jackky, who had been dating for a couple of years, tied the knot in Punjabi and Sikh ceremonies. For their special day, they wore customised outfits by designer Tarun Tahiliani. While Jackky chose an ivory chikankari sherwani, the ensemble also included a pleated stole. The meticulously hand-embroidered design makes his outfit just look perfect for the special day. The exquisite lehenga that Rakul wore for her wedding was embellished with hand-embroidered floral patterns. Pearls and crystals adorned the sheer sleeves of her blouse. The light pink base looked great with the contrasting floral pattern. She completed her bridal look with polki jewellery. She opted for a dewy base and tinted pink lips to channel the minimalist bride look.

On the work front, Rakul will be seen in 'Indian 2' alongside Kamal Haasan. The film also stars Bobby Simhaa and Priya Bhavani Shankar in key roles. The first part was released in 1996, starring Kamal Haasan in the role of an aged freedom fighter who decides to wage a war against corruption.
Jackky, on the other hand, is awaiting the release of 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan'. Helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and is all set to hit theatres on Eid 2024.
