Kriti Sanon recently chatted with her fans during a Q&A session on a social media platform. One fan asked her about the more challenging role between Sifra and Mimi in her recent film 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya.'

Kriti shared that both roles had their own difficulties—one made people cry, while the other made them laugh. The fan asked, "Which character was tough to play, #SIFRA or #Mimi? #AskKriti @kritisanon." To this, Kriti Sanon replied, "Both were challenging in their own way. One made people cry, the other made them laugh! Haina? #AskKriti." In Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, Kriti portrays Sifra, a robot.

During the session, Kriti also talked about her co-star Shahid Kapoor, mentioning his entertaining Punjabi playlist and sense of humour on set. “How entertaining is #ShahidKapoor during shoot on sets? #AskKriti” a fan asked.

To which the Mimi actor said, “He, his Punjabi playlist and his sense of humour— all are super entertaining! #AskKriti”.

About 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya' and 'Mimi'

In 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya' Kriti plays Sifra, a robot, while Shahid Kapoor portrays Aryan, a skilled tech developer. The story revolves around Aryan's struggle to find a suitable match for marriage and his unexpected love for Sifra, a robot developed by E-Robotics, led by his aunt Urmila (played by Dimple Kapadia). The narrative explores the challenges Aryan faces in accepting his love for a robot and keeping her identity a secret from his family.

Mimi, portrayed by Kriti Sanon, is a determined young woman with big dreams. Due to financial reasons, she reluctantly decides to become a surrogate. As complications arise, she faces tough decisions that test her journey and aspirations.

In a noteworthy achievement, on August 24, 2023, Kriti Sanon received the Best Actress award at the 69th National Film Awards for her outstanding performance in the movie Mimi. During an exclusive phone call with us, Kriti expressed her excitement and said, ""I feel elated, overwhelmed, very grateful, emotional, all of it. Obviously, it's a big moment still sinking in because it's probably the first award that got me a little teary-eyed. I don't think I got teary-eyed ever before on a thing like this. It's a huge moment. I've always wished for Mimi but I didn't know whether it'd happen or not but just very excited for Pankaj Sir too. I'm still kind of sinking it in. Parents and everyone at home are very excited and emotional. Right now, I want to be surrounded by the people I love."
