Have you heard? Shaadi Mubarak Vikrant Massey and Sheetal Thakur!

Vikrant Massey and Sheetal Thakur

After a registered marriage ceremony on Valentine’s Day, Vikrant Massey and Sheetal Thakur celebrated the union through traditional rituals at his ancestral home in Himachal Pradesh on Friday. The couple’s families and closest friends attended the intimate wedding ceremony. While Vikrant wore a white sherwani with a cream safa, Sheetal looked radiant in a red lehenga. Earlier in the day, they had a haldi ceremony. In a video from the ceremony, the duo can be seen dancing their hearts out. Vikrant posted pictures on Instagram account and wrote, “Today this journey of seven years has turned into seven births. Thank you so much for supporting us.”

Akshaye’s in charge now

Akshaye Khanna

Two decades since Deewangee, Akshaye Khanna is all set to get on Ajay Devgn’s case again. While he played a lawyer in the 2002 Anees Bazmee directorial, this time around, the reclusive actor plays a police officer friend of Tabu’s ex IG, Meera Deshmukh. And at her behest, is closing in on Ajay’s Vijal Salgaonkar to know the truth about her son Sameer. Now, that’s what we call a triple treat, with three powerhouse performers sharing screen space in a thriller like this.

Loving it up

Aly Goni and Jasmin Bhasin

Even before the rumours of Aly Goni and Jasmin Bhasin splitting up could gain any traction, they have died. The actor put the speculations to rest with his comment on her social media post. Moreover, the twosome are reportedly taking off to London to celebrate his birthday on February 25. While Aly and Jasmin have been friends for long, he professed his love for her on Bigg Boss 14 and the two have been together ever since.

Slick change

Tushar Pandey

Remember Tushar Pandey, who was teased as Mummy in the Sushant Singh Rajput-starrer Chhichhore? The actor is all set to showcase his macho avatar in the upcoming web series, Homecoming. Having previously lost weight for the Nitesh Tiwari directed project, which he also calls his best film so far, Tushar had to work doubly hard to gain more kilos for his new show to look perfect for the heroic part.

A new home for parents

Amol Parashar

Amol Parashar, who played Bhagat Singh in Shoojit Sircar’s Sardar Udham, has moved into a new abode. Sharing a few pictures with his parents, of the building and the keys on social media, the actor, who was also seen in Rocket Boys, wrote, “Helping them tick something off their bucket list, is a big tick off your chest. Something I learnt exactly a year ago, today.”

So inspiring this!

Akshay Kumar

Now that the trailer of Bachchan Pandey, starring Akshay Kumar, is out, everyone has once again begun talking about how it is inspired by the Telugu crime comedy, Jigarthanda. The major difference is that in the upcoming Holi release, Kriti Sanon plays an aspiring filmmaker, who wants to make a biopic on the gangster played by AK, while in the 2014 Telugu film, Siddharth essayed the part. Only a few know that Jigarthanda itself is inspired by the 2006 South Korean neo-noir action thriller, A Dirty Carnival.

Sanya in a kitchen story?

Sanya in a kitchen story?

Rumours suggest that Sanya Malhotra has been roped in as lead for the Hindi remake of the Malayalam film, The Great Indian Kitchen. Harman Baweja and Vicky Bahri have reportedly acquired the rights and entrusted Cargo director Arati Kadav to helm the film. We also hear that Priyanshu Painyuli, previously seen in Unpaused: Naya Safar, is being finalised to play her onscreen husband.
