After a stint of shooting in Mumbai, the unit of Ek Villain Returns is headed to Goa for the next schedule. Director Mohit Suri shared a masked-up selfie and wrote that he felt like “Sub-Zero from the Mortal Kombat video game.” Several action sequences with lead actors, John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria are slated to be shot against the backdrop of the beaches.

Recently, veteran actor Jeetendra dropped by at the set of 'Ek Villain Returns', to meet the cast and crew of the film. Jeetendra's wife Shobha Kapoor and daughter Ekta Kapoor are among names credited as the film's producers.
The film is a sequel to the 2014 film Ek Villian that had Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh. The cast of the new film is yet to be officially confirmed. The film is slated to release on February 11 next year. It also stars John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria. The second installment of Ek Villain, directed by filmmaker Mohit Suri, is set to release on February 11 next year.
