On Tuesday, Ayushmann Khurrana headed to New Delhi for the next schedule of Anek. The actor, who considers the spy thriller an important film, informed that it will be his final stint of shooting for Anubhav Sinha’s directorial venture. Anek marks Khurrana’s second collaboration with the filmmaker after Article 15 (2019).

Khurrana has carved his name in Bollywood with his brand of cinema which is now called ‘The Ayushmann Khurrana Genre’. The actor has triggered conversations with his social entertainer that are primarily based on taboo topics. Known as the ‘poster boy of content cinema in India’, Ayushmann’s popularity has been soaring every day.

An eye-witness from Shillong says, “Post the day’s shoot wrap, Ayushmann returned to the hotel and headed to eat dinner. In about 15 mins, there were about 200-250 college kids from Shillong outside the hotel wanting to meet him and he was promptly informed about the same. Ayushmann had just started eating his food but when he heard this, he left his meal and immediately went to the lobby to meet these kids.”

The film is slated to release on September 17. Before that, Ayushmann returns to the screens with Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui on July 9. The romantic drama directed by Abhishek Kapoor co-stars Vaani Kapoor. The film casts Ayushmann as a CrossFit athlete while Vaani plays his love interest. The shooting schedule of the film was wrapped within 48 days in Chandigarh. The film is produced by Pragya Kapoor and Bhushan Kumar.
