All eyes are on the India vs. New Zealand cricket match which is scheduled to take place tomorrow at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium. The match will begin at 2 pm and will be the 1st semi-final match played in the 2023 Cricket World Cup. Amid much excitement among cricket enthusiasts, there is good news for Bollywood lovers too.

Ranbir Kapoor will be in the stands tomorrow to watch India vs. New Zealand Semi-Finals 2023. The actor is currently promoting his upcoming film, Animal. He will be integrating Animal with the cricketing extravaganza. Ranbir will be engaging in an interactive session with cricket experts like Harbhajan Singh, Mohammed Kaif, Irfan Khan and anchor Jatin Sapru.

Animal is directed by Kabir Singh fame Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and Cine1 Studios are the producers. The film stars also stars Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol and Tripti Dimri. The action thriller was earlier scheduled to be released on August 11 but was pushed to December 1 due to pending post-production work. Animal will be released in multiple languages. It revolves around the complex father-son relationship between Ranbir and Anil.

During a virtual interaction, Ranbir revealed, "For Animal, I had shaved my hair! For the last scene, I had done that. So now I am growing my hair. Since I am not working on any film, I am eating a lot, and not following any diet. I have changed my entire lifestyle. I have quit smoking, so I am eating a lot of chocolates."

Talking about Animal, Ranbir said, "This is the darkest film I have done because I am not playing any psycho killer in it. It is just the character, his mind, and the way he operates. His psyche is very dark. It is not somebody who I am or can relate to. It was very interesting for me to play him on screen because it was a very new, original character. I am glad I collaborated with Sandeep on this because I got a lot from him, about heroism, about characters, and about a grey part like this."

According to a News18 report, Animal is set to get a grand opening in North America. Reportedly, the makers of the film have locked as many as 888 screens. In this terms, the thriller has surpassed Jawan and Brahmastra, which also starred Ranbir. Reports also claim that Animal's runtime will exceed 3 hours and might have not just one but two intervals.
