The director, the leading lady and even B-Town stayed away

At a recent success party (for Yamla Pagla Deewana) hosted by the Deol men Dharmendra and sons Sunny and Bobby B-Town was conspicuous by its absence.

What was even more baffling was the film's director Samir Karnik and lead actress Kulraj Randhawa were also missing in action.

The film was a hit but the director never got the spotlight, thanks to the Deols. Speculation is rife that it could be one of the reasons why he skipped the event.

All cool?

"There is nothing wrong between the director and the Deols," a source close to the latter claims, "The venue is in demand and we only had a three-day window.

They called Samir up and asked him if he could make it. He told them to go ahead without him. Also, Kulraj was walking the ramp in Bangalore at the time.

Moreover, the party was held especially for the media, thanking them for supporting the film. That's why no B-Town stars were invited."

Oops!!
A birdie present at the party noticed a boo boo in the film's poster, which erroneously spelt the word 'success' and even got the film's release date (January 14) wrong. Obviously an ancient poster, that screamed "Coming this Christmas' was used. Maybe they'll be more careful the next time?
