Filmmaker Karan Johar had recently revealed that Tiger will star in the sequel to his 2012 hit college drama 'Student of the Year' which will be directed by Punit Malhotra.
The first movie served as a debut platform for Mahesh Bhatt's daughter Alia, director David Dhawan's son Varun and newcomer Sidharth Malhotra.
"There is a pressure to take the franchise forward. I hope I am the right person and I don't let them down," Tiger told PTI.
According to the 26-year-old 'Baaghi' actor, working with Karan will be an enriching experience.
"He (Karan) is the coolest person ever...There is so much to learn from him. You just observe him and listen and absorb things. There is so much value to what he says. I am looking forward to learning so many things by being in his film," he added.
'Student of the Year' was a love triangle between Varun, Sidharth and Alia.
"It's a youth centric film. I can't give out the details about the premise of the film," Tiger said.
There were reports that Shahid Kapoor's half-brother Ishaan Khattar and Saif Ali Khan's daughter Sara would be part of the film.
However, besides the 'Heropanti' actor, the rest of the film's cast is yet to be announced.
