"Sridevi insists on bringing the most delicious food to the sets. It started when Gauri fell ill after eating food from the studio, where we are shooting. That's when Sridevi decided that none of us would eat canteen food. We've shot for 10 days and she has brought the most divine food every day. Every day isu00a0 a revelation," Balki said.
Sridevi even extended her hospitality to Amitabh Bachchan, when she shot with him last Monday. "Our canteen had served Rava Idli, but Big B chose to tuck into Sridevi's food," said Balki. Bachchan is teaming up with his Khuda Gawah co-star after 19 years. "It's a cameo role for Mr Bachchan," said Balki.
In it, Bachchan plays the role of an airplane passenger who meets Sridevi. Reports suggest that English Vinglish is a remake of the old Doordarshan serial Zabaan Sambhalke. Balki scoffed at the comparison, though. "Sure, we bring back Sridevi after so many years and make her do a television serial on screen! Where does all this information come from?"
