Short film, long trouble: Kunder's short film 'Kriti', which has courted controversy over allegations of plagiarism by Nepalese filmmaker Aneel Neupane, has been pulled down by YouTube. YouTube removed the psychological thriller - starring Manoj Bajpayee, Radhika Apte and Neha Sharma - on Tuesday stating, "This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Aneel Neupane."
Shirish Kunder on Monday filed a legal notice against the Nepali filmmaker who claimed that 'Kriti' is a copy of his film 'Bob'. He has also sought a written apology. After Kunder's 'Kriti' started garnering plaudits on social media, Nepali filmmaker Aneel Neupane accused him of "practically stealing the plot" of his movie 'Bob'.

When SRK slapped Shirish: In January 2012, Shah Rukh Khan is alleged to have hit Shirish at a bash organised by Sanjay Dutt to celebrate the success of ‘Agneepath’. The fight is said to have taken place at a popular club. SRK is said to have slapped and punched the filmmaker. Shirish had taken digs at RA.One on Twitter, which apparently hadn’t gone down well with the actor-producer.
Joker turns out to be a joke: Shirish had high hopes from the sci-fi comedy ‘Joker’, but it turned out to be one big dud, as the audience did not warm up to it. What’s worse, the lead pair of Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha refused to promote the movie. In the end, it all became one big joke.
Kunder vs Kher: Amid the Aamir Khan intolerance debate, Kunder took on Anupam Kher, and tweeted Dear Anupam Kher,#AamirKhan was talking about Kiran Rao, not Kiran Kher. Hope this clears the confusion. Jai Ho :-). To this Kher retorted, Omg. Never realized you are so intelligent. Jai Ho.:)
