Ameesha Patel celebrates her 33rd birthday today (June 9) with a surprise holiday gifted by beau Kanav Puri.

The actress says, "I was missing him a lot as it's been more than a month since he has been in London. I decided to fly down last week to be with him."
She adds, "Kanav had asked me to pack casual clothes and sports shoes along with swim gear. I was shocked 
and asked him where was he taking me swimming when it was so cold in London? But he told me not to ask too many questions."
The next thing Ameesha knew was that Kanav was driving her down to Hampshire, two and a half hours away from London. "Kanav gifted me a stay at this beautiful resort and spa. I am just getting pampered with massages."

But Ameesha is not just getting pampered but is also into outdoor activities too. "Kanav and I are fitness-consciousu00a0 so though we have been gorging a lot on Persian and Lebanese food besides cakes and champagne, we are making sure that we don't put on weight.
We go horse-riding, cycling, jogging and swimming in the heated indoor pool. In fact at the rate I am going I will come back thinner than I was. I have burnt all my calories."
Ameesha took some time off before her holiday to shop at Harrods. "I didn't bring any bikinis from India so I had to buy swimming gear."
She adds, "This trip has been fun. I will return to Mumbai by this weekend but I will remember it forever. I don't know when I will be seeing Kanav again as after this my film shoots and show rehearsals start."
