An ailing Ameesha cancels London trip to meet beau but will attend a wedding in the family

Ameesha Patel, who has been down with a bad attack of gastroenteritis has cancelled her two-week trip to meet beau Kanav Puri in Londonu00a0- for a wedding in the family!

Says the actress, "I was supposed to go to London last week but was terribly ill. Also, I have to attend a family wedding on November 29. My maternal cousin Priyanka is getting married. My relatives from all over the world will be coming to attend the function. So now Kanav is flying down for the wedding. He will be here for five days."



Understanding
Ameesha says Kanav was very understanding when she told him she was unable to travel to London. "Kanav has an important deal happening but he will fly down in time for the wedding. In fact, my cousins are thrilled that he's coming. Kanav had met them in London when Priyanka was shopping for her trousseau and they are all very close to him."

Ameesha adds, "It will be a big fat Sindhi weddingu00a0-- like the kind Yash Chopra shows in his films. On November 29, there will be a youngsters' party and I will dress up for it in a pink Versace number as it's a pink-and-white theme. Neeta Lulla and her daughter Nishka are doing my lehengas, saris and salwar kameez for the function."
