Is Anjana Sukhani being sidetracked in 'Department'?

Anjana Sukhani is apparently upset with director Ram Gopal Varma for promoting item girl Nathalia Kaur and giving her a royal snub during the promotions of their upcoming film.

A reliable source from the film reveals, “Anjana is upset with Ramu for going all out to promote Nathalia who has just done an item song in the film and ignoring one of the lead actresses.

Anjana plays Rana Duggabati’s wife and has a substantial role in the film. The actress has been following Ramu’s multiple tweets about Nathalia where he is raving about her. Unable to understand why the producers are snubbing her like this, she finally called up the director and made her unhappiness clear to him. RGV told her that he would look into the matter.”

Elaborating on the matter, the source thinks all this is because of Ramu’s obsession with his latest muse. “Ramu seems to have taken a fancy for Nathalia. That is why he is biased towards her. He has even cast her as a lead actress in his next. No wonder he is going all out promoting her.”

Another source however defends RGV, saying, “It’s difficult for a director to keep all his actors happy. Ramu’s main focus is promoting the film and he will do whatever it takes. He knows that the item song is the USP of the film and will grab the maximum number of eyeballs. That is why he is talking so much about it. The actors need to understand this and not crib.” u00a0
