Here's why Mehr misses her man...

They won't be able to celebrate their birthdays together this year

Arjun Rampal is a very disappointed dad. His wife Mehr with their daughters Mahikaa and Myra were to travel to Australiau00a0-- where Arjun is shooting for Karan Johar's Stepmomu00a0-- for his 38th birthday but had to cancel their plans.

Says a source close to the couple, "They were looking forward to being together as Arjun has been out of India for more than two weeks and they are a close-knit family. But Myra's school admissions have come up now and Mahikaa has to go to school as she hasn't got leave; Mehr had to stay behind. She is miserable about it as they have always spent their birthdays together."

Plans cancelled
The source adds, "Mehr's birthday falls on November 30 and the couple had planned to celebrate that together as well, while in Australia. Last year, Mehr was to bring in her 40th birthday with a bang at their Bandra home but because of the 26/11 terror attacks they had to cancel it as that time as no one was in a frame of mind to celebrate."

Mehr says, "I am disappointed that I couldn't go to Australia. Myra has interviews for her school admissions while Mahikaa has to go to school. Fortunately, there's some good news. The Stepmom schedule is going on as per schedule and might even wrap up a few days ahead. If that happens, Arjun will be back by December 10."
