Actor Gashmeer Mahajani, who starred in regional films like Carry On Maratha (2015) and Deool Band (2015), is enjoying his debut on the small screen. He plays investigating officer Vikrant Singhal on a paranormal thriller, Anjaan.

The actor, whose looks and performance on the show is earning him fans from across the country, is gung-ho about his character and the show. “I get a lot of creative freedom on the set. I also like the fact that the season has a fixed number of episodes with a definite ending,” says Mahajani, who was shooting for Anjaan and a film simultaneously until a few days ago. He would shoot for 22 hours daily for almost a month.

Talking about the challenges of juggling two projects, the actor says, “For an entire month, I would travel from one set to another, only taking a pit stop at home to brush my teeth and take a shower, before pushing off to the next shoot. It was crazy, but I enjoyed 24 hours of work.”
