'Dhanak' actress Flora Saini had great time working with Vidya Balan in 'Begum Jaan'

On how she landed a role in the movie, Flora said, "Your work will get you through. It might sound idiomatic but that’s certainly true. My role in Dhanak eventually got its worth and the ball landed in my court. Director Srijit Mukherji of the film called me for an audition since he has already seen my work in 'Dhanak' and that’s how I came on board of 'Begam Jaan'."

Flora was excited to work with actress like Vidya Balan and said working with the actress of her caliber was a 'learning process' for her. "It was a great experience to work for 'Begum Jaan', have seen lot many things on set everyday and every day was a learning process for me that too when you have someone to see like Vidya Balan on the set and I spent a quality and memorable time with her. She is so friendly and down to earth; she used to give gifts to all the artists on the set. The other day our director organised a get together and we were having food, then I realised and got to know more about her closely, she quips.

Vidya is very humble, straight forward, professional and keen when it comes to work, Flora informs. Flora let out an anecdote from the sets. "She had given pseudo names to other artists in a team and used to call me 'Madhuri Dixit' which was a huge compliment for me. She has a good sense of humour as well."
