While the media seems to have a flair for drama, let's set the record straight. I am fully cooperating with the ongoing investigation that has been unfolding for the past four years. As for the claims of 'associates', 'pornography', and 'money laundering', let's just say that no amount of sensationalism will cloud the truth. In the end, justice will prevail." However, the case in question is an ongoing investigation regarding Mr Raj Kundra and he is cooperating with the investigation for truth to come out.” “I would request the electronic and print media to refrain from using the videos, pictures, and name of Mrs Shilpa Shetty Kundra as she has nothing to do with the case. Chamkila actor Sahiba Bali reveals shocking incident about an obsessive stalker

Actor and internet personality Sahiba Bali, who starred in films like Laila Majnu, and Amar Singh Chamkila, and web series like Bard of Blood recently opened up on a shocking incident when an obsessive stalker would put up information about her personal life on social media. She also shared how instead of staying mum, she took the legal route and found a solution.  Sahiba Bali opens up on her obsessive stalker  In an interview with Hautterfly, Sahiba said, "It was not about a comment or photo, this person was obsessed with me and my life and they used to take some facts from my life and make fake stories out of it on Reddit, Instagram, and every other site. But the creepy part was that their facts were always right. They knew about the person I was meeting, the time and date even if I did not share anything on social media.” Sahiba Bali approached the cyber cell  She added, “Then I started questioning how can they be so right. Many delusional stories were made by the stalker. I spoke to my lawyer friend. So we can either talk to the women’s cell or the pro-bono lawyer if there is a budget crunch. They just have to write a complaint letter to the police against the person. So I got two letters, one for the police and the other for the cyber cell. So the cyber cell gives a threat to the stalker over a call." The actress concluded by saying that her lawyer issued a restraining order to the stalker via email with a warning that if they continue to do so, it will result in a hefty fine or a trip to the police station.  Sahiba Bali in Amar Singh Chamkila Sahiba played the role of a journalist who interviews Chamkila played by Diljit Dosanjh. Helmed by Imtiaz Ali, Amar Singh Chamkila presents the untold true story of Punjab's original rockstar of the masses, who emerged from the shadows of poverty and rose to the heights of popularity in the 80s due to the sheer power of his music, angering many along the way, which led to his assassination at the young age of 27. Parineeti essays the role of Amar Singh Chamkila's wife Amarjot Kaur.

Sanya Malhotra: ‘I don’t fear how I am perceived by others’

She may not have had a release in 2024, but we’ll see a lot more of Sanya Malhotra next year, starting with Mrs, to Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. The mention of the Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor-starrer brings a wide smile to Malhotra’s face. “It has been a lot of fun shooting for the film. We are missing each other and our vibe,” says the actor, who recently completed the Rajasthan leg of Shashank Khaitan’s directorial venture.  (From left) Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor also star in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is among the few out-and-out entertainers in Malhotra’s filmography, which largely boasts unconventional stories with strong messaging—from Badhaai Ho (2018) to Pagglait (2021). As a young actor in the industry, isn’t she told to do more mainstream films, given their wider appeal? “I’m not constantly looking for approval from people, and I don’t fear how I am perceived by others. I’m always leading with love for my work. If I start thinking about how my image is being created, it will restrict my choices. I don’t want to be put in a box. [At the same time], you also have to do the entertainers so that you are able to do the niche films. I grew up watching massy films. They are the reason I wanted to be an actor. Luckily, the mainstream films I do are [strong] like Jawan [2023] and Dangal [2016],” she says.  It’s notable how she has curated a filmography of progressive stories. A running theme through all of them is the strong portrayal of women. She notes, “I am conscious about the gender dynamics in my films. I’m constantly learning from the characters that I play, and the women I’m working with, whether it’s Guneet [Monga Kapoor] or Arati [Kadav].”

Ajay Devgn and Hrithik Roshan

Ajay Devgn keen to cast Hrithik Roshan as villain in new film on unsung warriors

Imagine a film franchise on the unsung heroes of India— that was actor-producer Ajay Devgn’s plan after his Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior (2020) became a runaway hit. However, he couldn’t put the plan to action at the time as director Om Raut and he got busy with their respective projects. Over four years on, it looks like the actor-director duo may reunite for the second instalment of the franchise. Not just that, sources say Devgn is keen to rope in Hrithik Roshan for a pivotal role in the historical drama. In the past few months, Devgn and Raut apparently met a couple of times at the actor’s office to discuss taking the ‘Unsung Warriors’ franchise ahead. A source tells us that the duo was initially keen to bring the story of Baji Prabhu Deshpande, a 17th century general of the Maratha army, to the big screen. The source elaborates, “The brave-heart is known for his role in the Battle of Pavan Khind, which took place in 1660 and saw him sacrificing his life to defend Shivaji Maharaj. But Ajay and Om hit the brakes on their plan when the Marathi film, Pawankhind [2022], which explored the same subject, was made. Now, they are toying with two options—either tell the same story on a grander scale, or choose another hero from the Maratha kingdom. The talks are still at the nascent stage. They haven’t entirely scrapped the idea of making the Baji Prabhu biopic, as a lot of research and planning had been done on that front.”  Om Raut In Tanhaji, Devgn played the eponymous hero, even winning the National Award for Best Actor for the performance. Saif Ali Khan stepped into the shoes of Udaybhan Singh Rathod, Tanhaji’s adversary in the story. While Devgn will play the lead in the second instalment, he is eager to cast Roshan as the antagonist. The insider shares, “Ajay feels Hrithik has tremendous screen presence and charisma. Couple that with his acting prowess, and the superstar will be a towering rival to Ajay’s character.” If things work out, this will be the two superstars’ first on-screen union. As far as the casting of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is concerned, we have heard Sharad Kelkar will reprise the role after Tanhaji.
