A week ago, Emraan Hashmi released his book, 'The Kiss of Life — How a Superhero and My Son Defeated Cancer', which chronicles the actor's struggle with his son's (Ayaan) cancer and why it's important to keep hope and not let the disease get the better of you. Now, Emraan is planning a full-fledged documentary on cancer.

Talking about his plans, the actor says, "I am extending the book into a documentary. I think there is no full-fledged documentary that looks at both sides of cancer. It will not just be about the medical aspect but also the various treatments available and how we can change the lifestyle."

The actor also reveals that he is turning a producer. "I have written a book. It was a new experience for me. Now, I would love to get into production. After 'Azhar', I will turn producer. It is very essential to have your say in the process of making a film. Although, I have worked with great producers and have been part of creative aspects, it is always good to have a say on every aspect of movie production."
