Producer Ekta Kapoor unveiled the first poster of her upcoming venture with Imtiaz Ali, Laila Majnu. The poster features stars Avinash Tiwary and Tripti Dimri, the duo looks much in love as they pose facing each other, wrapped in a blanket with the backdrop of a hailstorm.


The trailer of the movie will be out tomorrow. Taking to Twitter, Ekta wrote,"The mystery and the chemistry unfolds. Presenting our Laila and Majnu to the world. #LailaMajnu Trailer Out Tomorrow! #ImtiazAli @balajimotionpic @pipreety #SajidAli @RuchikaaKapoor #PIFilms."



The film is a modern take on the legendary love story. A classic folklore, the story is based on two lovers facing the challenges of the society of their times. Written and directed by Sajid Ali, the film will hit screens on August 24.
