Sanjay Dutt promoted his close buddy Ajay Devgn's production All The Best yesterday on the TV show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs, despite a high fever.
Ajay believes that children are his biggest audience for All The Best, and is wooing them. Sanju adores children and was excited about appearing on a children's show for the first time. But then he ran a fever and wasn't sure if he would be able to make it.
A source reveals that Dutt has been campaigning round the clock for the Samajwadi Party at night he has been shooting for Sohail Maklai's next film during the day, which has taken a toll on his health, "On Monday, he shot till 8 pm for Sohail's film at Mehboob studio, then went for a murti sthapana at 9 pm and then attended a SP party meeting till 3 am.
In the morning, he woke up with a 103-degree temperature. He was pushing his body too hard and finally it had given way to over-exhaustion. When Sanju called up Ajay and told him he was unwell, a concerned Ajay assured him that it was okay, and he should rest at home. However Sanju insisted on attending and drove down all the way from Bandra to Mahalaxmi Studios where the event was being heldu00a0-- only for Ajay."
'Very nice of him'
Ajay Devgn says, "It was very nice of Sanju to come all the way in spite of having such high temperature. I can never forget what he's done for me. Sanju has always been like an elder brother to me and supportive of whatever I have done. I shall always be there for him." The two actors have acted in many films over the years but when they shot again for Ajay's All The Best this year in Goa, they bonded big time.
All The Best is directed by Rohit Shetty. Fardeen Khan and Sanjay Dutt play two brothers while Devgn plays an aspiring car specialist.
The episode with Ajay and Sanjay will be aired on October 2 at 9.30 pm.
