A source reveals, "The Longest Yard is a remake of a Burt Reynolds film by the same name. In the Hollywood remake, Adam plays a famous American football player thrown in prison after an accident.
In prison, he assembles a team to play American footballu00a0 with the cops and eventually beats them.
The premise of Hook Yaa Crook is the same. John plays a cricketer put in jail. While he's there, he builds a team of cons to play a game against the guards."
