Here's a look at what's on offer at the second edition of Pune Style Week

The city will soon witness the second edition of Pune Style Week. Designers Shaahid Amir and Sanjana Jon, show director and choreographer Lovell Prabhu will be some of the names present at the show. City-based Indian actress Priyanka Shah has been appointed as the Style Ambassador.

Jon tells us, “The aim of this season will be fight against terrorism, some amount generated will be given to the victims of terrorism in India so that can they can restart their life in a better way.” As for her collection, she informs us that there will be a lot of colours as a tribute to the colourful country that is India. “Greys and blacks are out of style now, vibrant colours are the ones that I will be using more,” she shares.
Jon was supported by designer Shaahid Amir who added “For men, blues, grey and printed stuff are in fashion now. I will create some new designs for men for this event.” There will be eight fashion representations coming together to set new trends in fashion and business in the city.
In addition to New York-based designers Jon, Amir for Provogue there will be Abhishek Dutta, Manoviraj Khosla, Rocky S, AD Singh, Jaya Misra and Shivali Singh.
The event endeavors to promote, support and nurture a promising list of budding designers along with collections of established designers who have made their mark.
Shah tells us,“I’m glad that the event is happening in Pune as it will give the city and Pune models a chance to walk for great designers. This is a good opportunity for all.”
