If all goes well, Anil Kapoor will soon be producing a Marathi film. Buzz is that the actor will announce the project in the coming weeks. Kapoor is currently busy hearing narrations for what will be his first regional language film."



Playing his part
A source reveals, "Anil is pretty excited at the prospect of producing a Marathi film.

Even though he isn't fluent in the language, there are experts helping him out. Over the last few years, Anil has realised the growing popularity of these films. He, too, wants to play a part in producing such films."

Even though the exact subject of the film isn't known, buzz is that it will be a subject for the masses and also have a social message.

The source adds, "He's getting to meet and know a lot of Marathi directors. He intends to work with someone who shares his vision. Details are being worked out towards getting the project rolling."u00a0In the recent past, Marathi films have been enjoying critical as well as commercial success.
