Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan have shared several throwback photos on Instagram and these pictures are too good for any fan to miss! Right from their home in Allahabad to Abhishek's photo as a newborn, we bet you have never seen these snapshots before.

Amitabh Bachchan posted a photo of Abhishek Bachchan just a few minutes after his birth and wondered how quickly he has grown up to become 6'3''. Big B captioned the picture, "That is Abhishek a few minutes after birth .. and then before you know it he becomes a strapping 6'3" lad .. kids I tell you .."

Amitabh also shared an anecdote about how he once used to teach Abhishek about technology as a kid, and now, it's the other way round. Endearing, isn't it? "I once , not so long ago showed him the workings of technology .. now he teaches me .. Kids, I tell you ..," wrote Amitabh Bachchan alongside the picture. Endearing, isn't it?

Big B wrote, "We once stayed in 1/4th portion of this house on rent , our home in Allahabad.. 17, Clive Road .. I'm the 1950's. ..now visiting it in 1984 in the next pictures .. I do not know how to combine pictures in one frame for Instagram."

#throwbackthursday taken in the mid 80's ( 1985 if memory serves). I call it Big B and the Bachchan bunch. Dad was hospitalised with Mysthenia Gravis and my sister, cousins and I had gone to visit him. Being too young to understand what all was going on our parents always made it out to be like an outing so that we would not be disturbed by the hospital and its workings. When I used to visit my father after his accident on the sets of "Coolie" in 1982, seeing him connected to many drips and machines, he used to tell me they were kites that he had got for me. I was 6 yrs old. My father was fighting for his life and all I thought about was... why isn't he allowing me to play with these kites??? The innocence of childhood I guess.

Aren't the pictures wonderful?

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan will next be seen in 'Thugs of Hindostan' co-starring Aamir Khan.

Meanwhile, grapevine is abuzz that real life husband and wife Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are coming together for a film. But Abhishek says they are still in talks and that he would rather have the producer make the announcement.

The two actors are reportedly being cast in Anurag Kashyap's production titled "Gulab Jamun".

Asked about it, Abhishek told the medi, "That film is not directed by Anurag Kashyap. It will have a new director and will be produced by Anurag Kashyap. We are still in talks with Anurag about that and right now we can't announce anything because I feel the producer is the right person when it comes to announcing a film."

Abhishek spoke on the sidelines of the 20-year celebration of the movie "Border" in Mumbai on Sunday.
