Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 vs Singham Again box office report

Singham Again outperforms Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 on day 1 at box office

This Diwali saw one of the biggest clashes of all time, with the box office witnessing Kartik Aaryan's 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' locking heads with Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty's 'Singham Again'. Both films were among the most anticipated movies of the year. Now, as half a day has passed, box office reports are coming in, and they show that the cop drama is outperforming the horror comedy right now. According to a report from industry tracker Sacnilk, 'Singham Again' is currently riding higher than 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3'. The multistarrer cop thriller stands at Rs 27.06 crore, while the horror comedy is at Rs 21.29 crore. In terms of trends, the entry of Chulbul Pandey, a.k.a. Salman Khan, is creating quite a buzz and drawing moviegoers toward the screen. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 vs Singham Again during advance booking The advance bookings for both films have also shown a preference for the cop drama. Reportedly, 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' has managed to sell around 2.23 lakh tickets across national chains, earning a total of Rs 7.25 crore. Meanwhile, 'Singham Again' made a slightly bigger mark by selling 2.26 lakh tickets, earning around Rs 7.14 crore nett. Director Rohit Shetty’s cop actioner—featuring an all-star cast of Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, and Tiger Shroff—has a slight edge over the horror comedy, as it is poised to capture a larger screen share. About ‘Singham Again’ ’Singham Again’ draws inspiration from the rich narrative of the Hindu epic Ramayana. Ajay Devgn stars as a modern-day embodiment of Lord Ram, while Tiger Shroff takes on the role of Lakshman, and Kareena plays Sita. Ranveer Singh portrays Lord Hanuman, and Akshay Kumar takes on the role of Jatayu. Arjun Kapoor will portray the demon king Ravana in the film. About 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' Directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Bhushan Kumar, 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' follows in the footsteps of its predecessors, combining horror and comedy. The film witnesses the return of Manjulika, with Vidya Balan reprising her role, and Madhuri Dixit also playing a character with the same name. The film also stars Triptii Dimri and Kartik Aaryan.

Kabir-Ayesha (Dil Dhadakne Do) Amit-Aditi (Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na)

Kabir-Ayesha to Amit-Aditi, Bollywood's iconic on-screen brother-sister jodis

On the occasion of this special day of Bhai Dooj, brother-sister duo appreciation is definitely in the air. So, as a treat, here are five of the most iconic brother-sister jodis to grace our screens over the years. Let's dive into the Bhai Dooj festivities and reminisce about these popular duos: Popular on screen brother-sister duos 1) Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai (Max and Shirley Dias, Josh) When it comes to brother-sister relationships, we know there is a mix of fights, arguments, and a little love sprinkled in here and there. So, of course, Max and Shirley's relationship comes to mind. This duo had become one of the most popular brother-sister pairs in Bollywood because, even though this film didn't take over the box office, this pairing made history by becoming the most popular. I mean, who can forget the song Apun Bola? 2) Arbaaz Khan-Kajol (Vishal and Muskaan Thakur, Pyar Kiya Toh Darna Kya) Arbaaz Khan's 'Bade Bhaiya' portrayal in this movie deserves several awards. His all-too-serious yet pyaar, only for his behna, persona managed to perfectly remind us all of our brothers. Not to mention, his brotherly hatred for Sooraj made us all shudder a little. It's of popular opinion that Arbaaz's role, though that of a brother, was much more than that; he was a mother and father too. 3). Farhan Akhtar-Divya Dutta (Milkha Singh and Isri Kaur, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag) This pairing took India by storm. Diya Dutta and Farhan Akhtar together were bound to create magic, and did they ever? The way Farhan portrays the role of the caring elder brother, always wanting to make his sister proud, makes you almost forget that they are not actually related. In fact, this pairing left everyone teary-eyed in the theatre. The scene where Milka finally gives his 'didi' gold earrings left a whole in all our hearts. 4) Prateik-Genelia D’Souza (Amit and Aditi Mahant, Jaane Tu, Ya Jaane Na) Aditi and Jai's love story of going from friends to lovers made us realise very early on what our favourite trope is. However, her brother, Prateik, played the most important role in the film because he made Aditi realise her true feelings for Jai. Like all brothers and sisters, their relationship was a hot and cold one, which was beautifully depicted in the film. 5) Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra (Ayesha and Kabir Mehra) No list is complete without our favourite chaotic siblings from Dil Dhadakne Do, Ayesha and Kabir Mehra. The movie gave us a glimpse into the sibling dynamics in an affluent family. The movie consisted of a whole lot of subtle 'AWW' moments throughout, along with all the cute moments the two shared together. Whether it was sitting on the bed together, just talking about life, or just playfully joshing around, Ayesha and Kabir give us siblings goals throughout!

Nora Fatehi

Nora Fatehi reveals she initially said no to Dilbar song because of costume

Actress Nora Fatehi is known for her stellar dance moves. Time and again, she has featured in memorable dance numbers on the big screen. The Canadian dancer-actor recently revealed that she initially said no to being art if the hit song 'Dilbar'. The song was a remake of an old Hindi song of the same-titled but this time around it became popular for Nora's perfect moves. She revealed that she 'put her foot down' upon seeing her tiny blouse as part of the costume for the song.  Nora Fatehi did not want to be oversexualised Nora was in conversation at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2024 where she explained in detail why she did not want to be a part of the song from the John Abraham-starrer 'Satyameva Jayate'. "When I sat with those filmmakers, the first thing I said is, ‘Look, we can make this into an item song and we can just look hot and sexy and end of story, or we could change the game and make this more into a dance-oriented visual, a dance-oriented experience where people don’t have to be uncomfortable to watch it with their families and kids. They can watch it and be like, ‘Oh, what dance style is this?’, ‘Look at the hook step, that’s crazy, I want to try it’. Most girls who appeared in such songs kind of want to show a bit of skin and then boom, the song is still going to be a hit.” “You don’t really need to push yourself with the choreography, but I had that requirement that it has to be heavy on choreography. When they brought me the blouse, it was too tiny, and I had to put my foot down. I said, ‘Guys, I cannot wear this. Don’t oversexualise me. I get it, it’s a sexy song, we are all inherently sexy, but we don’t have to be vulgar about it’. In the morning, when we were about to shoot the song they had to make a new blouse,” she said, adding, “They had to reconstruct the new blouse that made me comfortable. To some people, it still looks over sexy maybe, but for me, it was whatever I was comfortable with compared to what they were going to give me.” Nora Fatehi's work front Nora was last seen playing a pivotal role in Kunal Kemmu's debut directorial Madgaon Express. She was seen alongside actors Pratik Gandhi, Avinash Tiwary, and Divyenndu. She is currently looking forward to the release of her Telugu debut 'Matka'. The film also stars Varun Tej and Meenakshi Chaudhary

Now, the Canadian police have arrested a 25-year-old from Ontario. The update about this arrest was confirmed by the Canadian police in an official statement. As per the statement, the man has been identified as Abjeet Kingra of Winnipeg. He has been charged with discharging a “firearm with intent” and arson. He is said to appear in court on Friday. Canadian Police arrests one man The official statement from the Canadian police reads, "On October 30, 2024, a man was arrested and later charged in connection with recklessly discharging a firearm into a residence, as well as setting fire to two vehicles in the 3300 block of Ravenwood Road, Colwood, in September. Rohit Godara, a gang member of the Lawrence Bishnoi group, stated that he carried out the shooting because AP Dhillon worked with Salman Khan in his latest music video, “Old Money,” alongside Sanjay Dutt. He also issued death threats to the singer. Godara is the same person who was responsible for firing shots outside Salman Khan’s residence in Mumbai. The incident took place on April 14 outside Khan’s Galaxy Apartments in Bandra. In a social media post, Bishnoi’s right-hand man, gangster Rohit Godara, wrote in Hindi, “Greetings to all brothers. On the night of Sept 1, we executed shootings at two locations in Canada—Victoria Island and Woodbridge, Toronto. I, Rohit Godara (Lawrence Bishnoi Group), claim responsibility for this act.” The post further reads: “The house on Victoria Island belongs to AP Dhillon. Salman Khan is featured in your songs, and you flaunt your actions. The underworld life you emulate is the life we live. Stay in your place, or you will meet a dog’s death."

Anupam Kher thinks 'Vijay 69' will change senior citizen's lives in India Speaking about the film’s beautiful message, Anupam says, “This Diwali, as we celebrate togetherness and the bond that holds us as a family, 'Vijay 69' reminds us of something very special — family isn't just about blood relations. Sometimes, the people who come into your life unexpectedly end up being the ones who care for you the most. Mihir's character becomes that unexpected light in my journey in the film, and in real life too, we’ve built a bond that feels like family." He adds, “The film has a beautiful message that the youth can play a huge role in bringing happiness and cheer to the lives of senior citizens. They can be great companions cheering the seniors on and filling their lives with hope. They can care for the generation that needs a lot of care and compassion. A society will always be known by the way it treats senior citizens and I trust the youth of India to be responsible enough to show the world that our country will treat its citizens with a lot of love.” Mihir Ahuja loves his bond with Anupam Kher For Mihir Ahuja, sharing screen space with a legend like Anupam Kher was both a learning experience and a privilege. He is touched by the film’s deep message of inclusivity. He says, “ 'Vijay 69' is the perfect Diwali film. During the festival of lights, we celebrate the bond of togetherness, the bond of family. In our film, we show how two strangers, generations apart, come together to help each other out and become a family. 'Vijay 69' moved me as a project and I loved that it showed how the youth cares about the generation that needs a lot of respect for shaping the world for us.” Both actors have shared a collaborated post, where they are seen exchanging sweets, celebrating Diwali, and embracing the festive spirit.           View this post on Instagram                       A post shared by Anupam Kher (@anupampkher) Mihir adds, “I love how we in the film show that any individual can become a family. All that we need to do is be an inclusive society, caring for the needs of others and championing each other’s dreams. This film shows that we don’t have to be related to care for each other. We all need someone to cheer for us, support us, and celebrate with us. I love that the film portrays the youth as mature enough to contribute towards bringing a lot of cheer to senior citizens. I also love how our generation can learn so much from the seniors and understand the true essence of empathy, the meaning of being a family. It has been a truly enriching experience working on Vijay 69 and learning from the legend Anupam Kher every day on sets.” Showcasing a mix of determination, laughter, and poignant moments, 'Vijay 69' is all set to release on November 8 exclusively on Netflix.
