Aishwarya Rai Bachchan at Cannes 2024

It was just a week ago when Aishwarya made her appearance at the Cannes 2024 red carpet, and the actress opted for a Falguni Shane Peacock black and white gown. The gown matched her hand plaster, turning it into an unexpected accessory, but this look of Aishwarya didn't sit well with netizens, who criticized her. Cut to today, when we were all hoping Aishwarya Rai would redeem herself, she came out in a green and silver tinsel gown with a long train, which has disappointed the internet even more.

This was the second time Aishwarya has walked the Cannes red carpet this year. During her time on the red carpet, the actress posed with Eva Longoria. As soon as Aishwarya's look came out, her disappointed fans started reacting to it.

One user wrote, "Petition to ban her stylist from styling ever again, please. This is horrendous!!!" "Who put her in Christmas decoration?" another fan commented. A third fan wrote, "Aaradhya must be designing these dresses from the look of it." "That Christmas leftover decoration," said another fan.

About Aishwarya Rai at the Cannes Film Festival

Aishwarya made her Cannes debut in 2002 with superstar Shah Rukh Khan and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the premiere of their film 'Devdas'. Decked in a yellow saree, her iconic entrance in a chariot is remembered fondly by fans even today.

After making her debut, she became the first Indian actress to be part of the Cannes jury, and ever since then, the actress has been attending the film festival. Over the years, she has served memorable, iconic red carpet moments, making her the undisputed 'Cannes queen'.
