Young social activist Sanjay Dhaka fighting for social change

Sanjay Dhaka, a Jodhpur-born social and political activist committed to service to the nation. He tried innovatively battled to clear out social inequalities and difficulties by engaging in social changes.

He was interested from a very early age, in charity, going to temples consistently, doing sacred havan, and feeding birds. Sanjay continued his service in the interest of students and the local people of Lohawat. Impressed by CM Ashok Gehlot's past works and strong plans, inspired to complete the hard work and dedicate himself to the people in general. Starting with student politics, he joined NSUI Students' Union in 2016 to help students' issues and fought for a student union election in Government PG College, Phalodi. He has been effectively engaged in students’ interests and issues through the association NSUI. In times of pandemic, engagement and response are fundamental requirements in the response to the public and the needy, in such a situation, Sanjay has coordinated the public and himself very well and helped the people a lot. He used to take care of the cows of the gaushala in Lohawat by providing fodder, food packets to the people. Considering this as his responsibility, he helped the people of Lohwat in every possible way, which is a huge part of helping the people of Lohawat.



When asked what has been the biggest experience in your life? On this Sanjay Dhaka says "These are nothing like appearances, I believe that in human life, I have to make my life meaningful by serving people and improving it day by day, serving more and more people. When you do something good and at that time people are watching your work closely when they praise you, then from inside, this praise inspires you to do better and power to do more. That’s what I'm trying to do.

After seeing Sanjay’s hard work and responsibility, NSUI re-appointed Sanjay as the state general secretary of the association in 2018. He represented as Youth Congress speaker in Rajasthan Youth Congress in March 2019 after participating in Lohawat
