Sankhadeep Dutta Mondal
A dreamer, an action taker, and an achiever; Sankhadeep at the very young of 24 has achieved phenomenal success. He is a self-made entrepreneur who has built successful businesses in the Financial Sector and the Education sector. He is also the author of two books and one of the youngest authors to be featured at the prestigious World Book Fair. Sankhadeep has also spoken at various events including at IIT Bombay. In this interview, we tried to get more details from him about his businesses and his new book " The Psychology of Success".

1) Your recent book 'The Psychology of success' has received a very good response from the readers. Tell us a little about the book.
Sankhadeep: 'The Psychology of Success' is my second book. It came out in January. The book is a treatise on personality development. In the book, I tried to explain why our mindset is the most important thing when it comes to the management of lives. You can change your entire life positively just by changing how you think. Your life depends on the quality of your thoughts. And people need to understand now more than ever when you see so many people facing issues such as depression, anxiety, feeling helpless, and suicide. Not only can you turn your life around by changing your mindset but you can also achieve great success if you are guided by a winner's mindset. This book gives its readers step-by-step guidance on how to attain that mindset which will help them to achieve great success in life.
2) How has your journey as an author shaped you as a person?
Ans: My journey as an author impacted me greatly as a person. And it's been one amazing journey. The process of writing a book required me to do lots of research and that aspect certainly acted as a learning curve for me.
3) You have had great success as an entrepreneur and that too at a very young age. So what drives you as an entrepreneur?
Sankhadeep: As an entrepreneur, the major driving force has always been the constant desire to create products and services which can make people's lives better. That combined with a desire to keep raising the bar higher and higher drives me as an entrepreneur.
4) you have recently forayed into the ed-tech sector with TLC. What is your vision behind it?
Sankhadeep: Yes we have founded The Learning Curve with the vision to help students and professionals from all over India to master great English communication skills. Today your success greatly depends on your ability to communicate your ideas to the world. And that's the reason communication and especially effective English communication is a major need for people. And The Learning Curve is the best institute in India that would help people master the skills of effective English communication.
5) Coming back to your writing, what are the different areas you would like to explore in your writing in the future?
Sankhadeep: I have many ideas and interests that I want to explore through my writing. I do think I will be doing some work on History and politics.
6) As a young entrepreneur yourself, what would be your advice to an upcoming businessman?
Sankhadeep: My advice to any young aspiring entrepreneur would be to try things out. Follow your passion. And if you want to be an entrepreneur. Do it. Take the plunge. Believe me, you won't regret it.
Sankhadeep is currently writing his third book which is expected to come out by October this year.
