Mumbai: Hosts Bombay Presidency Golf Club opened up a 2 ½ point lead over second placed Willingdon Sports Club at the end of the first day's play in the 18th Grover Zampa Vineyards Inter-Club Golf Championships, co-sponsored by Parle Products and Skoda, and played at the Bombay Presidency Golf Club, Chembur on Saturday.
While BPGC tallied 17 ½ points, WSC were second with 15 points and Poona Golf Club in third place.
