Mumbai's Srushti Shetty will be among eight schoolkids who were selected for a weeklong intensive training clinic in Australia under the guidance of Sharon Hannan - the former coach of London Olympics gold medallist Sally Pearson.

Srushti, accompanied by Prudhvi Raj, Hare Krishna, Mansi Pendarkar, Gurinder Veer Singh, Priyanka Chenoy, Siddhi Hirray and Kshitij Bhoite, was picked after winning Speedstar 2 - a nationwide athletics talent hunt - at the KJ Somaiya Sports Ground yesterday.
