Armstrong quit from the board of directors for Livestrong on November 4. He had previously resigned as chairman from the charity he founded on October 17, but had kept a seat on the board.
According to US Anti-Doping Agency order, Armstrong was banned from the sport for life and stripped of all his titles. The International Cycling Union followed suit in wiping out Armstrong's record seven victories.
Livestrong spokeswoman Katherine McLane said that Armstrong "remains the inspiration," and is still its largest donor with nearly USD 7 million over the years.
