Melanie and Marcus Rashford
Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford gave his mother Melanie a gift like nobody else for Mother's Day. He gave her his Man of the Match award that he won after scoring twice against Liverpool. Mother's Day was celebrated in the United Kingdom on Sunday.
Rashford posted this picture with his mother holding the Premier League award and said, "Thank you for all you do. Happy Mother's Day Mum, perfect present!"
Rashford hadn't scored for United prior to the Liverpool game since December, but manager Jose Mourinho kept him in the playing XI. The win now sees United five points clear of Liverpool in second place, and 13 points behind Manchester City.
