Rinku Singh

Having played 20 T20Is for India, Rinku Singh has started securing his place in the T20I side. Having established himself as a finisher, Rinku proved himself in the Zimbabwe series by scoring crucial runs when the team required it the most. Other than batting, Rinku is also good at fielding which adds an additional point to his selection

Ruturaj Gaikwad

Ruturaj Gaikwad is one of the most technical batsmen in the current Indian squad. The 27-year-old showcased his batting prowess in the Zimbabwe series. Now to fill in the vacant slots of stalwarts Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, Ruturaj Gaikwad can be included in India's T20I squad for Sri Lanka's series

Washington Sundar

India's all-rounder Washington Sundar received the "Player of the Series" award for the Zimbabwe series. His ability to bat lower the order and bowl helps him to stand out from other players in the squad. Sundar was able to contribute with the willow in two matches in which he scored 28 runs. With the ball, the spinner claimed eight wickets in five matches by conceding 93 runs. Following the retirement of star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, Washington Sundar can be a potential player in the T20I squad

Mukesh Kumar

India's speedster Mukesh Kumar was the standout bowler from the Blues. In three matches, the pacer bagged eight wickets and ended the series as the highest wicket-taker
