Ahead of the Pune Test against the "Black Caps", Virat Kohli will look to overhaul David Warner on the charts of the most runs in the World Test Championship. Warner's career ended with 2,423 runs in the WTC history. Currently, Kohli has 2,404 runs and is just 20 runs shy from surpassing the legendary Australian

Having featured in 116 Test matches for India, Virat Kohli currently has 29 Test centuries to his name. He is now levelled with former Australian cricketer Sir Don Bradman for the most centuries in Test cricket. Both have 29 tons registered under their names and if the star Indian manages to reach celebrated three figures in the Pune Test, then he will surpass Bradman for centuries in the longest format of the game

In the India vs New Zealand Test rivalry, Virat Kohli has accumulated 936 runs and is the fifth-highest run-scorer on the list. If he manages to score 29 runs, then he will be elevated to the fourth position on the list by going past Graham Dowling, who has 964 runs against India in Test cricket
