The fourth spot on the list is in the name of Australia's legend Shane Warne. The spinner played 145 test matches for Australia and has won 17 "Player of the Match" awards. The record for most wickets in a calendar year in test format is registered in the name of Shane Warne. In 2005, he played just 15 test matches and bagged 96 wickets

Kumar Sangakkara

Former Sri Lanka's wicketkeeper-batsman Kumar Sangakkara is the fifth player on the list. He played 134 matches in the longest format of the game and won 16 "Player of the Match" awards. The former Lankan batsman has several test records registered under his name
