In the Duleep Trophy match between India A and India B, wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant grabbed a stunning catch to dismiss Mayank Agarwal. He dived onto his left side to dismiss India A opening batsman Agarwal.

Navdeep Saini was the bowler to snap the wickets of both opening batsmen, Shubman Gill and Mayan Agarwal. Gill lost his wicket on 25 runs in an attempt to leave the ball assuming it was outside the off stump. Rishabh Pant, on the other hand, grabbed a stunner to show Agarwal the path to the pavilion.
Rishabh Pant has returned to red-ball cricket after a horrific car crash. In the Duleep Trophy, he is representing India B which is captained by Abhimanyu Easwaran. In the first innings, Pant departed for seven runs. His knock only for 10 balls with Shubman Gill taking the catch in Akash Deep's over.

Team India player Sarfaraz Khan's younger brother Musheer smashed a sensational ton on his debut. Facing 373 deliveries, Musheer accumulated 181 runs which was laced with 16 fours and 5 sixes. He was the lone centurion in the innings. Later, speedster Navdeep Saini stood firm and played a gritty knock of 56 runs. India B was bowled out for 321 runs in 116 overs.
India A speedster Akash Deep snapped four wickets by conceding 60 runs in 27 overs. Khaleed Ahmed and Avesh Khan registered two wickets each to their names. Star spinner Kuldeep Yadav too claimed one wicket.
