After Team India won their first match of the ICC World Cup 2023 against Australia by 6 wickets, India now heads to Delhi to play their next match against Afghanistan. India vs Afghanistan match will be played in Delhi's Arun Jaitley Stadium. The match will commence at 2.00 pm on October 11.
India will continue their campaign under Rohit Sharma's captaincy and will look forward to maintaining the winning streak. Afghanistan will be playing their second match in the tournament after facing defeat against Bangladesh by 6 wickets.

India and Afghanistan have played only three ODIs against each other. Among the three matches, India came victorious in two matches whereas Afghanistan didn't win any match. The remaining match ended with a tie.

India might play with the same playing XI from the previous match. Shubman Gill might miss the clash against Afghanistan as well as Pakistan as he has not fully recovered from dengue.
KL Rahul and Virat Kohli seem to be in fine touch in white-ball cricket. Afghanistan will fetch their small chances which will help them to register their first win in ODIs against India.
The battle between Naveen Ul Haq and Virat Kohli will be eyed by many as they had a huge banter after the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL. The battle between ICC's ODI bowling 4th rank holder Rashid Khan and India's run-machine Virat Kohli also awaits.
