Tons by big-hitter Chris Gayle and Shimron Hetmyer helped West Indies beat United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the World Cup Qualifiers match, here yesterday. Batting first, West Indies scored 357-4, thanks to Gayle's 123 and Hetmyer's 127. In reply, Rameez Shahzad helped UAE fight back with an unbeaten 112, but fell short by 60 runs.
Skipper Jason Holder claimed 5-53. Meanwhile, Afghanistan collapsed to a two-run defeat against hosts Zimbabwe at Bulawayo.
