The 2015 World Cup will have only 10 teams instead of the present 14, and for the World Twenty20 the number will go up from 12 to 16, ICC CEO Haroon Lorgat announced yesterday.u00a0
He said: "As the 50-over World Cup demands more skills from players, we've decided to reduce the number of teams to 10 to increase competitiveness. However, the World Twenty20 will have 16 teams."
