T20's teen batting sensation Sarfaraz Khan has made himself available for Mumbai. Yesterday, the Bangalore batsman submitted his No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Uttar Pradesh State Cricket Association (UPSCA) to the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA).

Sarfaraz quit Mumbai cricket three years ago and joined Uttar Pradesh for the 2015-16 season following which he ended up playing just three Ranji Trophy matches. In the next season, Sarfaraz played five Ranji games. An injury before the T20 ruled him out for the entire season.

Sarfaraz will now have to serve a one-year cooling period as per the MCA rules to make himself available for Mumbai selection again. He opted to return to Mumbai cricket despite an opportunity to play for the Services.
