"You find so many international players around in the IPL and get to learn a lot of things. Mitchell Johnson is one of them and I loved playing with him.

"I learnt from him to take great care of your body and work hard on your fitness. Mitchell never missed a training session," Tare told mid-day yesterday.

Johnson played for MI in 2013, the year MI won the IPL and Champions League. "I had a great time with him when he was with Mumbai Indians. He was very genuine and always had a smile on his face. The player who was so aggressive on the field was very mild and friendly off it. He cared about his teammates and always wanted to win. Mitchell was a great guy to be around with," said Tare.

Talking about Johnson's pace, wicketkeeper Tare said: "I thought for the last two or three years, he bowled with express pace. He used to bowl 150 kmph consistently. I only kept to him in the nets and he had genuine pace. His deliveries were different from the other bowlers."
