Vienna: At least two passengers were injured when a knife-wielding man went on a stabbing spree in a train in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg on Tuesday, the media reported.

The attacker, a 60-year-old German national, was arrested by police and the case is under investigation, Xinhua news agency reported.
The injured were sent to a hospital for treatment and their condition could not be immediately confirmed.

The attack took place in Roethis locality near the border with Switzerland.
There have been several incidents involving knife attacks on trains in Europe over the past weeks.
