Manipur violence: Meitei's activist gives 24 hour ultimatum to Government

The Coordination Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI) has called for immediate military intervention against militants and the repeal of the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act (AFSPA). In response to growing frustration, protesters on November 17 targeted the residences of state ministers and MLAs, escalating the crisis.
