Shiv Sena held first day of its convention in Kolhapur on Friday

The convention was inaugurated by CM Ekanth Shinde at Mahasainik Darbar Maidan in Kolhapur

Along with Eknath Shinde nine cabinet ministers and Shiv Sena MLAs and MPs also attended the convention which is organised to strategise for upcoming national and state elections

Newly inducted in Shiv Sena, Milind Deora was also present at the convention 

In the first session of the convention, Minister Gulabrao Patil spoke on Shiv Sena and its approach towards Hindutva, CM Eknath Shinde posted on X

Eknath Shinde was declared as the main leaders to strategise and ensure the Mahayuti (grand alliance) in the state wins all 48 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra, his post on X said

Naresh Mhaske, Maharashtra State Coordinator of Shiv Sena, administered oath to all the Shiv Sainik present at the event, to ensure all 48 Mahayuti candidates win in Maharashtra and Narendra Modi is elected as the prime minister the third time this year, CM Shinde posted on X

The first day of the convention also focused on organizational issues, political issues and government workshops in the view of upcoming elections

CM Eknath Shinde will address a rally on the second day of the convention, on February 17
