Apart from Nitin Gadkari, other prominent names from Maharashtra nominated for Lok Sabha were Piyush Goyal from Mumbai North and Pankaja Munde from Beed
Gadkari is fondly called as 'highway man' or 'expressway man' of India considering the number of expressways he constructed across India as Transport and Highway minister
