Renowned cartoonist, illustrator, and humourist R. K. Laxman was born on 24 October 1921 in Mysore. Laxman was the youngest among six brothers and two sisters. His elder brother late, R. K. Narayan was a novelist and the creator of Malgudi days. Laxman was known as 'Pied Piper of Delhi'.
