Meanwhile, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Monday attended Viksit Bharat Viksit Railways event at Marine Lines station in Mumbai that was addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
PM Modi inaugurated 2000 railway infrastructure projects worth more than Rs. 41,000 crores. The event, conducted via video conferencing, witnessed the participation of thousands of people from 500 railway stations and 1500 other venues across the nation, a press statement said.
Gracing the function held at Marine Lines station in Mumbai, Chief Minister Shinde addressed the gathering and emphasized the significance of the Viksit Bharat Viksit Railways initiative.
