During an electoral rally, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unleashed a harsh attack on the Congress party, accusing it of helping Pakistani terrorist Ajmal Kasab and claiming that its "B Team" across the border has become active.
Addressing a rally in Maharashtra, PM Modi criticised a Congress leader's statement about the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, calling it "very dangerous". He was outraged that Congressmen supposedly sided with Kasab and declared him innocent, which he saw as a disrespect to the victims and security forces.
"These Congressmen are now together taking the side of the terrorist Ajmal Kasab. The person who was a Minister during the Congress regime and a close friend of the family has also declared Kasab innocent. This is an insult to all the innocent civilians killed in the Mumbai attacks... this is an insult to all the security forces who killed all the terrorists in the Mumbai attacks. Also, this is an insult to martyrs like Shaheed Tukaram Omble," PM Modi said reacting to Vijay Wadettiwar's remarks on Hemant Karkare's death.
PM Modi highlighted tweets from across the border that support the Congress, implying a worrisome alliance between the two. He criticised the Congress manifesto, stating that it bears the fingerprints of the 'Muslim League'.

"You see for yourself the difference between issues and the agenda of the NDA and the Congress. Our focus is on the development, welfare, security, safety and dignity of Bharat. On the other hand, the Congress doesn't have anything even to discuss over these issues," PM Modi said per IANS report.
The Prime Minister forecasted the breakup of the INDIA alliance, indicating that its expiration date is June 4. He linked this to the failure of their strategies and the public's discontent with them.
PM Modi framed the election as a choice between satisfaction and appeasement, claiming that the BJP-NDA is focused on gratifying the people via hard work, whilst the INDIA bloc uses conspiracies to pacify their vote bank.
"INDIA bloc's tactics have failed before the public, and the very frustration emanating from this can be seen across the border too! None of the tactics of the INDIA bloc are working among the public. 'Team A' here is losing, so the 'Team B' of Congress across the border has become active. The third phase of voting has made it clear that the expiry date of 'INDIA bloc' has been fixed on June 4. After that there will be no one to carry the flag of INDIA bloc," PM Modi said.
"BJP-NDA's entire effort is to satisfy the people of the country with their hard work, whereas the INDIA bloc people are busy appeasing their vote bank with their conspiracies," he added.
