Police officials from the Adugodi police station returned from Andhra Pradesh late last night around 12.30 am after recovering two stolen vehicles.

Of the two, one car was stolen from Maharashtra and had its number plate replaced with a local one unlike the other car with no plates on it.

A senior police official from Adugodi police station, said, "We have brought back some suspects with us, but since we have no evidence we cannot register a case against them yet."

He added, "For now, we'll hold them in our custody." Officials refused to confirm the number of suspects.
